The Saginaw Club's doors are always open to guests who would like to learn more about Altrusa membership and participation.  Guests are encouraged to attend not only business meetings but program meetings or participate in service projects prior to affiliation.

Membership

Membership qualifications for Altrusa are dictated by the international organization's Bylaws.  Membership requirements are as follows:

Active Members

(Active members) are recognized in their businesses or professions who are of good character and who subscribe to the principles of Altrusa.  Active members must meet ONE of the following criteria:

• Be or have been actively engaged in the practice of their profession as a degreed or registered/certified or licensed employee
• Be or have been in the operation of legitimate businesses as owners, partners, office managers, local agents or branch representatives
• Be or have been a holder of an important position with executive capacity and discretionary power
• Be recognized for outstanding work within the community

Altrusa members are classified by their business or profession to assure a diversity of participation in each club.
